Good morning all. WOW! It is finally here. There has been so many plates juggling through the air that I have barely had time to focus on the trip. But by the grace of God and help from a good staff and a wonderful wife, I believe I am ready.

FEAR - PEACE - PURPOSE

I shared earlier with you how the transformation from fear to peace was complete and instantaneous. This week that peace has morphed into purpose. As we hear reports on the ground there, we recognize the need is enormous. The demand for clean water is overwhelming and I will ask for your prayers that we are discerning about placing the units that we are taking where they will do the most good. That is the physical. In the spiritual my mind is focused, my shoulders are square and my jaw is set because I know that I am headed into the mission field with God as my armor.

God had me awake at 3 A.M. yesterday giving me themes for these emails and by this morning this list has grown to 215 people. I pray that you are blessed by them. If you are passing them along to anyone and they want to catch up on the earlier ones, my web guy is putting them on my website as a blog.

A daunting day of travel is ahead of us; we fly from Indy to Philadelphia (blizzard not withstanding) and then later in the afternoon we fly from Philly to Santa Domingo D.R.. By the time we clear customs it will be about midnight and we will immediately load all the gear on to a truck and head for the Haitian border, which is about 6 hours through the mountains, we should clear the boarder and then it is another 6 hours through the mountains to Les Caiys (SP?) where we will hopefully be able to rest before getting hard to work on Sunday.

My prayer s to see God at work all around me. I encourage you to look for where He is at work around you.

I will try to send and entry once a day, but the communication ability is still up in the air.
